To Our Valued Customers,
We would like to take this opportunity to express our thanks to all who are doing their part to limit the spread of the coronavirus. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those directly affected by COVID-19 and those who are working to treat them.
After working with Alexandria's Health Department and screening everyone that came in today, March 16, at the AHD center, and taking multiple seminars on coronavirus specifically, I wish to share my informed decision:
At this time Gold Works will remain open. We are using all recommended precautions to stay within state and federal guidelines such as hand sanitizer being available, sanitizing surfaces and social distancing. All of us here are, and we need to advise all those who come in, must be symptom free.
Please call us at 703-683-0333 if you wish to make plans for a visit or make an appointment for routine repairs or for a description of what a unique design for you may be. We are still able to do most of our design work via telephone and/or email.
In an effort to minimize exposure we would like to offer our customers the option to drop off their repair needs through Gold Works mail slot. All repair jobs coming in as such will be given 20% off of their repair. Also, any repairs can be picked up by appointment or you can choose to pay by phone and have them mailed back to you with appropriate shipping.
Instructions to drop off:
Email us at david@goldworksusa.com or call 703-683-0333 to let us know you will be dropping off or coming by with a repair or custom job giving us detailed instructions.
- Put your jewelry in an envelope or Ziplock bag with your name, contact information and instructions.
- Please email or call when you have dropped off your item/s and we will contact you when we look them over and give you an estimate for the job/s.
Custom jobs will also be accepted at this time and can be started through email and phone calls. A deposit will be required and can be given over the phone. We will be giving 20% off of the design fee* for jobs started during this time.
*Design fees are non-refundable, and do not include materials costs.
